Seriously, Russian history has some of the most incredible events/periods … well, period.

Alas, according to most history classes in America, that whole corner of the planet didn’t even exist until the 20th century. :[

I was quite peeved about my history professor just skipping over medieval Russia last semester. Stuff happened outside of Western Europe you know!

Asshole Professor summed it up nicely when he went on a rant that was pretty much, ‘Isn’t this stuff great? Where else does shit this crazy happen?’

He also said ‘only in Russia’ like a hundred times over the course of the semester. Indeed.

These comments also apply to Asia, just so you know. Hetalia shippers got me interested in Russia ;;
